Join Makayla Dickinson, Agriculture and Workforce Development Educator, along with local North Country beekeeper Ron Lauff, to learn about the ins and outs of beekeeping! You will:
-be introduced to and learn about the components of the Langstroth hive
-discover tools and accessories
-learn about pests and diseases
-hear the costs of beekeeping
-discover beekeeping season in Jefferson County
and more!
All workshop attendees will be entered into a free prize drawing for a standard smoker! Prize will be drawn at the conclusion of the workshop.
