We’re at it again! After two lovely sold-out events, we’re delighted to invite you to a relaxed and friendly morning designed especially for more mature age groups.

This event is for singles: • Ages 60–70 • Ages 70+ (3 years either side is perfectly fine)

This is a safe, welcoming, alcohol-free space where friendships are made and sparks can happen.

You’ll enjoy a series of short, one-on-one chats with other like-minded singles in your age group, with plenty of time to mingle, relax and enjoy morning tea.

There’s no pressure — just real people, real conversations, and a chance to meet someone new.

At the end of each date, you’ll complete a simple match card. If both people select “yes”, Sober Socials will exchange phone numbers so you can connect again if you choose.

Sober Socials Speed Dating is hosted in a safe, inclusive space where everyone is treated with kindness and respect.

Nervous is normal — many guests arrive feeling unsure and leave smiling, confident, and glad they came.

Come as you are. Leave having made a connection.

Participation in Sober Socials speed dating events is voluntary and at the attendee’s own risk. Sober Socials does not guarantee that participants will form a romantic connection or match as a result of attending the event. Sober Socials, its organisers, employees, contractors, and venue partners accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, or expense sustained by any participant before, during, or after the event, including but not limited to personal injury or loss of personal property.

Refunds & Cancellations

Tickets are non-refundable if you can no longer attend.

If Sober Socials cancels the event, you will receive a refund.

If the event is rescheduled, your ticket will transfer to the new date or a credit may be offered.

Uneven numbers or format changes do not qualify for a refund.

By attending, participants agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner. Sober Socials reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive, without refund.

Privacy & Consent

Your personal details are used only to manage the event and communication.

Contact details are never shared without mutual consent.

By attending a Sober Socials event and completing the match cards, if you and another attendee both select yes, you’re agreeing for Sober Socials to exchange your phone numbers so you can catch up if you wish.

Photos may be taken for promotion — please advise the host if you prefer not to be photographed.
