Join us for an elegant afternoon of tea, conversation, and timeless hospitality inside The Magnolia Inn, Clayton's award-winning historic boutique inn.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, gathering with friends, or simply looking for a beautiful midday escape, our signature Afternoon Tea offers a refined experience inspired by the traditions of classic English tea service—thoughtfully elevated with seasonal flavors and warm Southern hospitality.
Each event is limited to just 24 guests, with two intimate seatings of 12 guests at 12:00 PM and 12 guests at 12:30 PM, creating an unhurried and welcoming atmosphere.
Your Afternoon Tea Experience Includes:
Signature Tea Selection
- Paris 1920
A refined Earl Grey black tea layered with soft citrus and delicate lavender blossom. Elegant, aromatic, and timeless. - Porchlight Peach (The Magnolia Inn House Blend)
Delicate white tea gently infused with ripe Southern peach and small fruits. Light, floral, and beautifully smooth. - Italian Renaissance Blood Orange
A vibrant ruby infusion of hibiscus petals and berries. Bright, refreshing, and naturally caffeine-free.
Savory Finger Sandwiches
- Hot smoked salmon with cream cheese & capers
- Prosciutto, fig & mascarpone
- Roast beef with horseradish cream on sourdough
Freshly Baked Southern Buttermilk Biscuits
Served warm with whipped honey butter.
Curated Dessert Selection
An assortment of French macarons, miniature fruit tarts, dark chocolate truffles, berries & cream, lemon curd with berry compote, and other seasonal sweets.
Tea Hats Welcome
Complete the experience by borrowing one of our complimentary tea hats, or wear one of your own. Hats are entirely optional, but they add a touch of timeless charm and make the afternoon even more memorable.
