Join Mark Steinhardt for an afternoon of storytelling on Monday 13th October at 2pm.
The tale will be “Murder in Flitwick Wood” – Tuesday 2nd December 1788, James Reed and his sons were gathering kindling in Flitwick Wood when they found the body of a young lace-maker. Her murder was a crime of passion quickly solved, but the mere sequence of events is not its interest. Unusually for the time, sufficient documents have survived to allow a full account of the violent unravelling of two ordinary human lives.
Hot drink and scone included in the ticket price.
Please note this is a repeat of the session that ran on Monday 22nd September.
