Afternoon Dances of Universal Peace at BeMoved Studio

We hold hands and dance in a circle to live music, as humans have done since ancient times. There are now over 900 of these dances, in many different languages, and they are done all around the world.
Rooted in sacred phrases from many cultures and
spiritual lineages, the Dances of Universal Peace offer a
living prayer for peace, unity, and remembrance. No singing or dancing experience is needed. The dances are simple, and everything is taught in the moment.
Be Moved Studio is located in the Liberty Hall building, at 2 E. 7th street. It is above the plant store, up the stairs. Shoes are not worn in the studio, but you are welcome to bring a water bottle.
The butterfly in the photo is a Great Spangled Fritillary (Speyeria cybele), and the flowers are Black-eyed Susans.
Suggested donation is $5, but this is not required.
