The Afternoon Art Club is for children ages 8 - 12Each club session will run for six weeks allowing plenty of time for us to work on multi-week projects.
Our curriculum will include Pottery Painting, Drawing, Hand building with Clay, Canvas Painting, Fused Glass, Mosaics, and additional crafts selected based on club member interests. (we may not get to all of these in one session...as we try to gauge projects based on participant interest and ability)
We will not only make art but also delve into some art history and explore specific techniques and styles of specific artists, making this a fun and educational experience for your child.
We will meet weekly for a 2-hour session to explore different artistic mediums and learn about art.
Wednesdays, January 8th - February 12th
4:30 - 6:30 pm
(No class on Feb 5)
Cost per 6-week program:
$240 per participant
This includes all supplies and materials.
If enrolling more than one participant, contact us for a sibling discount code.
Participants should plan to wear old clothes or bring a smock.
They should also bring a water bottle and a snack each week.
Note: we require a minimum of 5 participants to run this program.
