About this Event

Afterglow is Austin's home for immersive, multidisciplinary performance—bringing together ambient and experimental music, live visual art, modern clowning, and alternative comedy into a single collaborative experience. Designed to celebrate the city's independent creative spirit, Afterglow creates space for artists whose work exists outside traditional venues while inviting audiences to experience unexpected connections between disciplines.

This month's lineup features acclaimed cellist and composer Joey Reyes, alongside an improvised superjam with Justin Williams, Melonious Phonk, and HollowEarth, plus live sets from Releafs, Dr. Bobby Banner, and Bryan Gary. The evening also includes live painting by Trey Abraham, experimental comedy from Joey Z's SHEEP and Niel Dorsey's Sonic Safari, modern clown installations including Face Paint Roulette and Shitty Caricature Artists, and infused ice cream by Sugar Plum Shari.

Whether you're here to sink into ambient soundscapes, laugh at the unexpected, watch art unfold in real time, or simply discover something completely new, Afterglow is a celebration of the weird, the experimental, and the collaborative—an evening where Austin's most adventurous artists come together under one roof.

REFUND POLICY:

Refunds can be requested up to 24 hours before the start of the show. If you purchase tickets and are a no-show on the night of the performance, you forfeit the right to a refund. Email [email protected] or contact Eventbrite through your purchase receipt.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

We recommend audiences to be 18 or older due to mature content on stage; however, those under 18 are welcome with parental discretion.

PARKING:

Street parking is typically available within a 2 block radius of the theater. Try parking north of 7th Street on Lavaca, or west of Lavaca near Guadalupe & 8th (by the old library). We do not validate parking.

DRINK POLICY:

Our venue is BYOB. Must be 21+ years of age and present valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone.

Unless otherwise agreed by Fallout Theater, the Customer may not resell tickets purchased for this event. Purchases of resold tickets from third-party websites are unauthorized and ineligible for refund by Fallout Theater; you will have to contact the third-party reseller for refunds.
