About The Speaker:
Michelle Kalisz is a pianist, educator, and former Adobe enterprise partnerships professional who combines psychology, music, and performance to explore how people learn and develop their creative potential. She holds a master's degree in Piano Performance from Hunter College and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. As the operator and lead teacher of Michelle K Music, she focuses on helping students develop both the technical and mental skills needed for performance success. Through her work and writing on the science and psychology of music learning, Michelle explores the connection between creativity, learning, performance, and the mind body relationship.
