About this Event

After the Trace, Layers of Memory explores the quiet traces that remain after memories seem to fade. Memories do not simply disappear; they are gradually layered through time, emotion, and experience. Even when certain moments are erased, forgotten, or left behind, their traces continue to exist beneath the surface.

Through floral materials, layered structures, and three-dimensional wall-based compositions, the exhibition visualises memory as a process of accumulation, overwriting, and transformation. Each work reveals how traces of the past can become the ground upon which new memories begin to emerge.

Rather than presenting memory as a fixed record of the past, the exhibition approaches it as a living and changing presence. In the layered space between disappearance and renewal, the works invite viewers to encounter the inner landscape of memory, where what remains quietly gives rise to what begins again.

Youngsun Park is a multidisciplinary artist and art director working across spatial installation, floral sculpture, and contemporary design. Her practice brings together diverse materials, media, and spatial languages to create layered sensory experiences that move between art, design, and spatial experience.
