AFTER THE PARADE / NO PERMISSION PRIDE CELEBRATION
About this Event
AFTER THE PARADE: A CELEBRATION WITHOUT PERMISSION
This year, the City of Arlington canceled its Pride celebration — a celebration we believe was one of the best Pride events in the state of Texas.
Let’s be clear: this cancellation did not happen in a vacuum. It happened under direct pressure from a state government that continues to target queer people, queer culture, and queer public life.
So our response is simple:
We do not need permission to celebrate our existence.
We do not need approval to gather.
We do not need the state to validate our joy.
After The Parade is our answer to suppression. A day-to-night Pride celebration built by community, for community.
We’re starting the day with music, a queer vendor market, local businesses, artists, makers, and the vinyl shop open for digging. As the sun goes down, the celebration turns all the way up with two stages, DJs, vinyl sets, drag, burlesque performances, special guests, surprises, and more to be announced.
We are also looking for vendors, artists, makers, food vendors, queer goods, vintage sellers, community brands, and local businesses who want to be part of the market. DM us now for the vendor packet and details.
This is not just a party.
This is resistance on a dance floor.
This is queer culture refusing to disappear.
Tickets are on sale now.
Come early. Shop the market. Stay late. Celebrate without permission.
