After Gasparilla Cleanup 2026!

The pirates have come and gone — now it’s time to reclaim our bay! ⚓
Join Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for our annual After Gasparilla Cleanup as we come together to clear litter and debris left behind after the festivities. Help us keep our city and waterways beautiful while celebrating the spirit of community pride! All supplies will be provided and free shirts on a first come first served basis.

• Closed-toed shoes (required)
• Reusable water bottle
• Sunscreen, hat & sunglasses

Date: Sunday, February 1st, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Check-in: Begins at 7:45 AM

Volunteers can sign up for one of seven cleanup sites across the parade route:

• Fred Ball Park – 2629 Rubideaux St
• Bern’s Park – 1400 S Howard Ave
• Kate Jackson Park – 821 S Rome Ave
• Bank of America – 249 S Hyde Park Ave
• SOHO (MacDinton’s Parking Lot) – 405 S Howard Ave
• Tampa Riverwalk (USF Park) – 233 Ashley Dr S
• Jackson’s Bistro, Bar & Sushi – 601 S Harbour Island Blvd Ste 100

🅿️ Free Parking:
Volunteers at Tampa Riverwalk and Jackson’s Bistro sites may park at the Tampa Convention Center Garage (333 S Franklin St). A parking code will be emailed prior to the event.

Each site will have a check-in station led by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful staff and board members.

Info: Cleanup Instructions: we encourage volunteers to work in pairs or small groups
BRING back BEADS, BUCKETS, & GRABBERS!
• Buckets & Burrito Bags are for beads only!
• Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful Truck will also be driving around to pickup beads
RECYCLE only CANS and BOTTLES!
• Clear bags are for recyclables (no glass bottles)
TRASH should be brought back to site or given to the garbage trucks that will be driving around
• Black bags are for trash only (KTBB will need to take note of the number of bags collected)
Remember:
• One Bucket/Burrito Bag and Grabber Per 2 Persons
• One Shirt Per Person (must be present)
• Water is Available
• Do not touch any sharp or hazardous items – please get a team member for assistance
