Join us each month for our After Dark Series, this new late-night series will showcase a mix of cult favorites, arthouse hits and rarely revisited cinematic gems from the 1960s through the early aughts. Serving as the connective tissue of Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse (long before Marvel established its own interconnected universe), the not-so-dynamic duo embark on a cross country road trip to prevent Hollywood from adapting a well-known comic book property for the big screen. Smith's sharp and witty dialogue cleverly critiques Tinsel Townβs growing obsession with intellectual property, along with movie bloggers and Ben Affleck. The film boasts an eclectic supporting cast that includes Will Ferrell, Carrie Fisher, Matt Damon, and even Morris Day and the Time.
