About the Instructor:
Muff is a Philadelphia-born dancer, instructor, and cultural mover dedicated to preserving and sharing the foundations of Afro House.
With 7 years of experience in the style, she began her dance journey in Philly and later found a deep connection to the rhythms, footwork, and expressive energy of Afro House, a genre rooted in Angola’s Kuduro movement culture.
Her commitment to the craft extends beyond steps — Muff has spent years studying the cultural lineage, musicality, and evolution of Afro House, ensuring that her teaching honors the history while empowering dancers to develop their own style. She brings a blend of technical clarity, cultural context, and Philly energy to every class she teaches.
Muff currently trains and sessions weekly in North Philadelphia, refining her movement vocabulary and continuing her personal study of Angolan dance culture. Now, she’s excited to share her knowledge, experience, and passion with the wider community through accessible, foundation-focused instruction.
