What is Collage Poetry?
Collage Poetry involves the juxtaposition of words, phrases, and images from various sources to create a new, cohesive work. With poetry, collage can include found text, snippets from newspapers, magazines, or personal photographs, allowing poets to explore themes and emotions in innovative ways. There are poetry forms that lend itself to this structure, as well as other traditional forms that would be easy to follow and utilize with collage.
