Meet your Teachers :

Plamedi Santima-Akiso
Plamedi is a Congolese-born, Wales-based multidisciplinary dance artist, choreographer, and cultural ambassador. As the founder of Afro-Jam Cardiff—the first Afro-Dance dedicated organization in Wales—she is a driving force in pioneering and nurturing the Afro-Dance community in the country. Plamedi is passionate about sharing the richness of African culture, fostering meaningful connections, and celebrating diversity through dance. Her mission is to empower dancers by offering mentorship, encouraging creative exploration, and developing technical skills to unlock professional opportunities.

Johnny

Welcoming Johnny, based in London UK. He is a choreographer & movement artist that has spent the last few years building a global community with his movement and philosophy, working with major household names including the likes of Nike, BBC, JBL, World of Dance, Dell, YouTube and so many more along the way. He shares a well-seasoned energy and perspective that creates a productive learning environment for those in the space, with large inspiration coming from many of the modern African dance styles you see today (notably Azonto, Naija Fusion & Afrohouse) and influence from other non-Afro street styles including House and Hip Hop, amalgamated into the unique blend of movement he shares.
