About this Event
🎶 Mindful Finger Painting x Live Afro Beats Music 🎨
End your weekend with a chill Sunday afternoon of art, music, and good energy. Come sip, relax, and paint freely while vibing to Afrobeat-inspired sounds that move through the space.
Enjoy a DJ x live performance by Daniel J. Woods, whose sound blends rhythm, soul, and global influences—creating an atmosphere that’s both energizing and grounding. His music becomes the heartbeat of the experience, guiding the flow of the room as you create.
This experience invites you to slow down and be present—choosing your canvas, connecting with the rhythm, and allowing the music to guide your movement and expression. You’ll also be gently guided through the painting process, helping you tap into intuitive creation and explore color as a form of feeling.
Whether you're coming solo or with friends, this is a space to unwind, reconnect, and express yourself without pressure or expectation. It’s not about how it looks—it’s about how it feels.
No painting experience needed. No pressure. Just come, relax, and create.

🎨 Meet Your Facilitator by Kara Clark
The session is hosted by Kara Clark, Spiritual and Self-Care Coach and founder of Honey Moon (Body & Spirit), and a facilitator at The Self Care Academy. She guides creative wellness experiences that encourage people to slow down, explore creativity, and reconnect with themselves.
Through this mindful finger painting and live music experience, Kara invites participants to paint to the rhythm—using Afrobeat-inspired sounds as a guide for expression, movement, and flow. Rooted in connection, this experience centers the connection between music and expression, allowing the body to respond naturally, where each brushless stroke becomes a reflection of what is felt, heard, and released in the moment.
