In this high-energy sessions hosted by DWSP & DWP USA and taught by iconic Ghanaian dance star Lisa Quama, you'll learn the essential steps that define one of Africa’s most popular emerging styles: Afro Pop. Through engaging drills and choreography, you'll not only pick up fresh moves but also experience the vibrancy of Afrobeats culture firsthand. Whether you're dancing for fun, fitness, or to expand your foundation in Afrobeats, this class is the perfect space to let loose and enjoy the rhythm!

+BEGINNER CLASS: 6-7:05 PM (no experience needed!)

Learn the foundations, essential grooves, rhythms, and signature movements that define one of Ghana’s most influential dance styles.

+INT/ADV CLASS: 7:15-8:45 PM

About the Instructor:

Lisa Quama, is a Ghanaian dancer, trainer and influencer who has been dancing professionally for over 5 years with Dwp Academy. She has trained under international dance champions such as Afrobeast and Dancegodlloyd.

She has performed on major international stages including the Global citizen Festival, Telecel Ghana music awards , and the Black Star Line Concert, and with artists such as Usher, Tobe Nwigwe. She also appeared in music videos like Beyonce's “ Already” and Mr Eazi's “Patek”.

Lisa has taught in major cities across the US and hopes to continue spreading both her knowledge and expertise in the Afro dance industry across the globe.
