About the Instructor:

Glori is a DMV-based dance instructor and performer originally from Cameroon, West Africa. She began dancing at the age of 15, building her foundation in Afrofusion before expanding her expertise into Coupé-Décalé, a high-energy dance style known for its rhythm, expression, and vibrant cultural roots.

With years of performance and training experience, Glori specializes in teaching foundational Coupé-Décalé movement, musicality, and Afrofusion choreography in a fun, engaging, and beginner-friendly environment. Her classes focus on confidence, culture, technique, and helping students connect with movement while embracing African dance traditions.

Passionate about sharing African dance culture with the DMV community, Glori brings energy, authenticity, and creativity to every class and performance.

Info: We’ll begin with a guided warm-up to get the body moving and set the tone for class. This is our time to shake off tension, get comfortable in the space, and prepare to learn and move confidently.

Info: Next, we’ll build your Coupé Décalé dance foundation with fun, dynamic steps, body awareness, and a touch of cultural context that brings each move to life.

Info: In the second half, we’ll put it all together through choreography that challenges you to apply your technique, feel the music, and express your individuality. Expect a supportive environment where you can push yourself, have fun, and let your confidence shine.
