About this Event
Afro Unidad Fest arrives in Trinidad & Tobago bringing together elders, artists, youth, and community for a powerful celebration of Afro culture, spirituality, and creative expression.
Rooted in unity, ancestral knowledge, and living traditions, Afro Unidad Fest centers drumming, dance, film, literature, and global dialogue as tools for healing, education, and liberation across the African diaspora.
This Trinidad edition honors the deep African retentions of the Caribbean with drumming traditions, Orisha/Ifà knowledge systems, and intergenerational cultural transmission—while connecting local voices to a global Afro-diasporic movement.
