Afro STEAM Fair: Youth-Centered Science, Technology, Engineering and Arts

an in-person and livestream conference showcasing youth Robotics, Environmental Science Research, Animation, and Comic Book Production for registered community and Philly Tech Week attendees.

The event aims to:

• Showcase youth to STEAM career pathways
• Highlight culturally responsive Afro STEAM education
• Platform Young adult’s STEAM research and developed skillset 
• Bridge universities, community organizations, and youth education advocates
• Promote student-centered education models
• Increase community representation in STEAM industries

Info: Students will present their robotic machinery, environmental science projects, comic book creations, and 2D animation designs. Attendees will move throughout the space, visiting each youth scientist’s table to engage with their work, ask questions about their Afro STEAM experience, network, and explore innovative ideas.
