The Tidewater African Cultural Alliance and the Tema Committee of the Norfolk Sister City Association present Afro MANIA Ghana: A Cultural Experience! This program is made possible with an Arts Equity grant from the Norfolk ARTS Commission.
This FREE celebration of Ghanaian culture is for the whole community! ***Children must be accompanied by adults.***
Check In for those registered is 11:30 AM - 12 PM.
12-2 PM: Enjoy interactive workshops such as: Dancing; Drumming; Storytelling; Crafts; and a taste of authentic Ghanaian cuisine from Yendidi Restaurant.
2-3 PM: Join us for a cultural presentation of dance and drum performances from 4 regions in Ghana, and a fashion show. Come to the whole event and get a chance to win prizes!
