The AfroCaribbean Collective is landing at Coolum Peregian RSL on Saturday 18th July 2026 from 5pm with pure island energy, big rhythm and carnival spirit straight to the Sunshine Coast.
This high energy celebration is bringing together the heartbeat of world music and the soul of the Caribbean.
Live and local: soca, reggae, sweet steel pan sounds, samba dancers, tropical flavours, the kind of party you don’t wanna miss! Feel the baseline and move your waistline! This ah pure Caribbean Celebration.
‣ Bajan born and bred, Sharon Brooks (and the Mama Funk Band) is known for her fusion of modern funk, disco, jazz and reggae. Sharon gets the dance floor moving and grooving with a world class show.
‣ The Caribbean Connexion is a five piece outfit that will be serving up some reggae, ska, soca and Latin combos.
‣ Sambazzy Performers are the Sunshine Coast’s very own premier Samba Band complete with samba dancers, Brazillian carnival costumes and roving dance.
‣ Singer songwriter Alexander Mills hailing from Barbados will be opening up the show with his soulful original compositions.
