About this Event

Join Batalá, DMV's all-women drum band, for two free drumming workshops in samba-reggae — the high-energy Afro-Brazilian rhythm Batalá is known for. No experience needed. Special guest Estrela Preta will perform a capoeira demo as part of the celebration.

Free and open to all ages. No drumming or dance experience necessary. Come ready to move!
