Proceeds from Taste of Africa directly support AfriThrive's Food as Medicine initiatives, expanding access to fresh, nutritious, and culturally appropriate foods, produce prescription programs, nutrition education, community partnerships, and other evidence-based approaches that improve health outcomes and reduce food insecurity across the Greater Washington region.
