About this Event
African immigrants are shaping communities across the U.S.but too often, our voices are missing where decisions are made. The AIM Policy & Advocacy Conference is designed to change that.
A one-day hybrid convening aimed at equipping African immigrant communities and allies with the tools, knowledge, and networks needed to drive meaningful policy change. Through dynamic plenaries, breakout sessions, and cross-sector dialogue, the conference will explore issues like immigration, economic and educational equity, digital advocacy, and navigating power structures and influencing public policy.
Join us for a powerful half-day of:
✅ Inspiring keynotes from policymakers and immigrant leaders
✅ Panels on immigration, civic engagement, education, and equity
✅ Breakout workshops to sharpen your advocacy skills
✅ Networking with professionals, leaders, and allies.
This is more than an event, it's a movement to ensure African immigrant voices are heard, valued, and represented in the policy process.
