Join us February 20–21, 2027, for African Fashion Week Winnipeg: a two-day celebration bringing runway fashion, entrepreneurship and recognition together during Black History Month.

Whether you love fashion, want to discover local businesses or enjoy a beautifully styled cultural celebration, AFWW 2027 invites you to be part of the experience. Guests and businesses from every background are welcome.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 — TRADE SHOW & BUSINESS EXPO

Spend the day discovering products, services and creative businesses through:

- BOBNE — Black Owned Business Expo
- Black Owned Canada
Explore fashion, accessories, beauty, art, retail and professional services. Meet business owners, discover new brands and make connections across Winnipeg’s business community.
All types of businesses are welcome to apply to exhibit.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 — FASHION SHOW
7–10 PM
The evening belongs to the runway. Experience collections, statement silhouettes and distinctive design perspectives in a celebration of African fashion and contemporary creativity.
Dress with confidence, bring your love of style and discover the stories expressed through clothing, craftsmanship and culture.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21 — GALA & AWARDS
Celebrate fashion and business excellence in Winnipeg at the AFWW Gala & Awards.
The Sunday celebration brings the weekend’s focus on creativity, enterprise and community into an occasion for recognition and connection.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Fashion enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, designers, creatives, community supporters and anyone who wants to discover the brands and people contributing to Winnipeg’s cultural life.

Vendors
Introduce your products or services at the Saturday expo.
Early registration is $200 CAD; regular registration is $250 CAD. The early offer is for the first 10 approved vendors who pay in full by October 19, 2026, at 5 PM Winnipeg time, or until those early allocations are filled.
Designers
Apply to present your collection in the Saturday fashion show.
Registration is $200 CAD for an approved presentation of up to eight looks.
Sponsors and partners
Connect your business with fashion, entrepreneurship and community through an AFWW sponsorship or promotional partnership.
Applicable taxes are additional to participation fees. Vendor and designer participation are separate from audience admission.

Discover local businesses, shop unique products and connect with Winnipeg’s entrepreneurial community.
Featuring the AfroCaribbean Expo, BOBNE—Black Owned Business Expo—and Black Owned Canada, the showcase welcomes businesses and attendees from all backgrounds.
Vendor shopping continues into the evening alongside the AFWW runway program. Arrive early to explore the showcase before the fashion show begins at 7 PM.
