African-American Cultural Arts & History Center Guided Tour with Preservation Alamance

The AACAHC is a vital institution dedicated to preserving Alamance County’s African-American history. From the history of slavery in NC, to the Riots of 1969, and the vibrant legacy of The Black Bottom district in downtown Burlington, the Center’s collection offers a comprehensive look at the figures and movements that shaped our community.

• Support the Mission: While this event is free, the AACAHC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on community support. They graciously accept donations online at aacahcenter.org/donate or in person during the tour.
