Festival Commencement Concert: Afiara QuartetPresented as part of the 2025 Sea to Sky Chamberfest
Join us for an inspiring evening of chamber music to open the 2025 Sea to Sky Chamberfest, featuring the acclaimed Afiara Quartet. Known for their dynamic artistry and boundary-pushing collaborations, Afiara is a JUNO-nominated ensemble praised for “intensity and commitment” and “frequent moments of tenderness” (Montreal Gazette). With accolades including prizes at the Munich ARD and Banff International String Quartet Competitions, Afiara continues to redefine the role of a 21st-century string quartet.
