AFCEA Belvoir proudly presents its annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony, a signature event that celebrates academic excellence, innovation, and the next generation of STEM leaders. Each year, we recognize outstanding students from the Fort Belvoir community and surrounding region who are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
This ceremony honors the hard work and dedication of these students, as well as the educators, mentors, and families who support their journeys. Thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors, members, and partners, this year’s program will award thousnds in scholarships and grants, further reinforcing AFCEA Belvoir’s mission to invest in our future workforce and national security.
Our guest Speaker COL Matthew Paul serves as acting deputy capability program executive and project manager for the Human Resources and Force Management portfolio at U.S. Army CPE ES2, where he oversees key Army business systems and leads the development of human capital and readiness solutions. A former infantry officer and seasoned acquisition professional, he has held leadership roles across multiple program executive offices, driving modernization in mission command and intelligence systems. He holds advanced degrees and certifications in program management and has earned numerous military awards, including the Legion of Merit and two Bronze Stars.
