Brig. Gen. Robert J. (RJ) Mikesh Jr. assumed the role of deputy program executive officer (DPEO) at PEO EIS in May 2024. As DPEO, Mikesh is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of 37 acquisition programs that support and field Army and Department of Defense communications, logistics, medical, finance, personnel, training and procurement systems for every domain, branch, unit and Soldier in the Army.
