AFA Grants Info Session & Artist Mixer

SALINGPUSA CREATIVES AND ALBERTA FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS (AFA)
are inviting artists, artist collectives and non-profit organizations to a free grant writing info session and artist mixer on July 26 from 1:30 to 4:00 PM at the GRAND YYC.
AFA grant specialists Jodie Vanderkerkhove and Nick Haywood will give pointers on how to apply for grant funding that will support:
- Development of a specific artistic work
- Training opportunities
- Research activities; and
- Marketing initiatives
AFA’s next application deadline is on September 1, 2026.
BONUS: Attendees will have the chance to grab one of the slots for a 20-minute one-on-one consult with Nick or Jodie scheduled for July 27 Monday. In this session, you will get personalized tips on how to make your grant application soar above the rest.
