Aerial Yoga uses silk hammocks to suspend your yoga practice from the ceiling. Don't worry, most of the time you will have one foot on the floor and you are barely off the ground. You will still practice well known yoga poses such as warrior poses, balances, twists and inversions.
There are so many benefits to practicing aerial yoga and these are just a few of them:
~ decompresses the spine
~ increased mobility and flexibility without impact
~ strengthens bones and joints
~ increased blood flow especially to brain
~ improves digestion
~ calming of the mind
~ improves sleep
~ fun way to explore yoga (there will be laughter)
~ general full body tune up and workout
