Please note, students must have been enrolled in the chosen class in 2025. Students must have paid prior to the workshop.
3:30–4:15 – Aerial Hoop (45 min)
4:15–4:45 – Acro (30 min)
4:45–5:00 – Break (15 min)
5:00–5:45 – Aerial Silks (45 min)
Students must be confident on the apparatus.
Silks prerequisite: straddle inversion from a climb.
Students must focus in class and behave respectfully; disruptive students will be removed with no refund.
Uniform & Hair: Black bike shorts/leggings, crop/leotard, black Ovation T-shirt. Hair in 2 braids or neat slicked-back bun with no flyaways, secured out of the way for rolls/headstands.
Students are representing the studio and expected to participate with enthusiasm and absorb instruction.
Meaghan Wegg is an international circus coach and offers inspiring insight into the circus world. Meaghan is from Canada, the home of Cirque du Soleil and has performed globally with cirque du soleil. She was an aerialist and a contortionist and has a wealth of knowledge to share including the nurturing of your body, mindset for success, and skills, stage tricks etc. You can look her up for more information.
Workshop Focus:
Learn technique, transitions, artistry, and performance quality. Perfect for students who want to take their acro and aerials to the next level.
Meaghan will provide expert tips and guidance for students ready to take their acro/aerial skills to the next level. Skills will be catered to the level of Ovation students.
Open to all skill levels who meet prerequisites. Meaghan has let us know that anyone will get something useful out of the workshops no matter their level.
