AECB Conference Fringe - Parkhaus EnerPHit
About this Event
Join Hannah Dixon, Director of Progress in Practice, for a guided tour of Park Haus EnerPHit, as featured on Channel 4's "Guy Martin's House Without Bills". Park Haus demonstrates how an ordinary 1930s semi-detached house can be transformed into a high-performance, healthy and future-ready home.
Designed as a "forever home," Park Haus combines Passivhaus EnerPHit principles with thoughtful, adaptable design to reduce heating demand by around 90% while creating comfortable, accessible living spaces that support independent living for years to come.
During the tour, Hannah will explain the retrofit strategy, including insulation, airtightness, triple glazing, MVHR, natural materials, and low-carbon construction, as well as the design decisions that helped balance exceptional energy performance with architectural quality and occupant wellbeing.
Tickets are restricted to those with AECB Conference tickets and you will be asked to present you conference ticket when you attend. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended. If you change your mind or can no longer make it, please let us know so we can make your place available to others.
