The Doriana Award
Celebrating
Outstanding Parent Advocacy
Doriana Vicedomini, a fierce, dedicated parent advocate from CT, passed away in October of 2023 after a brave, three-year battle with cancer. Doriana's smile could light up a room, and her zest for life and commitment to ensuring her son's ASD-rooted specialized needs were met were inspiring. Her advocacy led to the development of a model of special education accommodations for all ASD children that sets kids up for independence and to thrive. Advocates with Doriana's commitment and drive, who lead systems change creating impact for others, deserve to be celebrated and recognized for their tireless dedication. The Doriana Award was created to memorialize Doriana and her impact, as well as to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the amazing parent advocates leading the charge.
The Luncheon will feature a Keynote Speaker, a Doriana Award presentation, a fantastic destination Raffle, and a Silent Auction. Please join us.
