About this Event
Welcome to Adventure Walk Club!
Join us for our founding walk!!! This Saturday, August 1st will be the first of many. Come help shape what this community will become. Your ideas, feedback, and presence will help create something special from the very beginning.
Please keep in mind that I am very aware of what the HEAT will bring this Saturday. We are expecting 90 degrees and I am planning this in the middle of the day. I will be bringing water to share and clean bandannas soaked in ice water for all of us to keep cool. Please be sure to apply sunscreen and eat a healthy breakfast early in the morning. There is no need for this event to take you down because the goal is to lift your spirits!!!
Life gets busy.
We spend so much time rushing from one obligation to the next that it's easy to forget how refreshing it can be to simploy slow down, stretch your legs, and share a meaningful conversaton with someone new.
Adventure Walk Club was created to make that easier.
We'll explore beautiful local parks, lakes, beaches, neighborhoods, and trails throughout San Diego County while enjoying relaxed conversations that help us reconnect - with nature, with ourselves, and with one another.
There are no awkward networking activities .
No sales pitches.
No pressure to be anyone other than yourself.
Each walk includes a thoughtful conversation prompt (or two!) to spark authentic discussion, but you're always welcome to simply enjoy the scenery if that's more your speed.
Whether you're hoping to make new friends, spend more time outdoors, or simply have a reason to get out of the house, we'd love to have you join us.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, and an open mind.
