🌿 Marshland Mosey: Exploring Parks and Natural Spaces near you
Muskegon is surrounded by incredible natural areas -- marshes, forests, dunes, lakeshores -- but many of us drive past them every day without really seeing them.
Marshland Mosey is a group ride series from MCBC's Bike Co-op designed to change that.
These slow, social bike rides are meant to reconnect people with those wilder spaces hidden within and just beyond the city limits. We'll ride out together and land in a local or state park for coffee, conversation, and time to explore what makes each place unique.
Whether you're new to riding longer distances or just looking for an excuse to spend more time outside, this is an invitation to slow down and notice what's around you.
What to expect:
-A relaxed group ride (party pace = no drop)
-Destinations include under-the-radar natural areas, parks, and publicly-accessible land
-Trail-side coffee with friends from Aldea (no beer, no pressure)
-Casual conversation about our unique lands, access, and conservation for those curious
-An open, community-forward space focused on shared experience, not performance
This is not a race, not logging those Strava KOMs, but a chance to ride like you did when you were a kid: you remember; curious and carefree.
📍 Rides will start at Aldea in Muskegon and head out toward our surrounding natural areas. Destinations announced before each ride.
