Advent Quiet Day at Church of the Messiah

Do join us for a peaceful and reflective day at Church of the Messiah in Winter Garden, Florida. This in-person event will offer us a time to pause, pray, and prepare our hearts for the Advent and Christmas seasons. We'll have Morning, Noonday, and Evening Prayer, and three sessions devoted to the Wise WItnesses of the Nativity: Anna and Simeon, Elizabeth and Zechariah, and Mary and Joseph. In between you can choose a facilitated labyrinth walk, contemplative prayer with icons and Gregorian chant, a reading room, and other spaces to pray, including a lovely green space across the street. We'll also enjoy a simple lunch of soup, salad and bread, provided by the parish.

There is no charge for this event (donations welcome), but please register so we can plan for food. Please come and catch your breath in the prayerful presence of God!
