There have been several events (mainly secular) being advertised already for late November/early December, so this invitation is being sent out now, in the hope that if you're free that day, you might be interested in coming along and taking part! It would be lovely to see more people there, as this is always a very enjoyable event. For those of you (and there are some included in this invitation) who don't know what the Advent Procession is, just look up York Minster on YouTube. This is almost identical, but on a *slightly* smaller scale. 🙂
Music other than congregational hymns and the great 'O' Antiphons yet to be chosen, and is very negotiable, depending on how many singers we get on the day, the more there are, the better it will be!
Rehearsal at 2pm. Service commences at 4pm, and is expected to last just over an hour.) There will be refreshments served by the community. They are really lovely people, led by Fr Andrew Starkie, the Ordinariate Dean for the North of England, so it's always a pleasure to go there and take part in services like this.
