Advent Day of Reflection- "Waiting with Mary"

We invite you to join us for our Fourth Annual Advent Day of Reflection, Saturday, November 21st from 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM, a special day set aside to slow down, pray, reflect, and simply enjoy being together as we prepare our hearts for Advent.
We will begin the morning with Holy Mass at 8:30 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Attending Mass is completely optional. After Mass, participants will walk over to Magdalen Place joining those who could not make Mass, where we will spend the rest of our day together.
We are so excited to welcome Kitty Cleveland, singer/songwriter, inspirational speaker, and artist, who will share two inspiring reflections with meditations/songs focused on Advent and another on the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. There will be time throughout each reflection to sit quietly, listen to beautiful music, and pray. We will end the reflections with a group rosary.
After lunch and shopping with some vendors, we will have some fun and get creative! An Acadiana artist Michelle Morein will lead us in painting a beautiful image of the Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus. You do not need to be an artist—each canvas will already be pre-drawn, making it easy for everyone to participate and enjoy the experience.
We hope you’ll come spend this special day with us as we prepare our hearts for the joy and hope of Advent.

$100.00 includes speaker, all supplies, canvas painting, light breakfast, lunch and music.
Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another participant.
