North Scottsdale United Methodist Church Hosts Annual Advent Celebration: "Come Prepare"
Sunday, December 8th, 2024 – 11:00 AM
North Scottsdale United Methodist Church warmly invites the community to join in the celebration and preparation for the birth of the infant Jesus at their annual Advent Celebration on Sunday, December 8th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event will take place at the church, located at 11735 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ, 85254.
This festive gathering is designed to spread the joy of Advent, the sacred season leading up to Christmas. Attendees are encouraged to participate in a make-and-take craft event, where they can create their own Advent wreaths and other Nativity-themed crafts that will help warm hearts and homes for the holiday season. Families of all sizes are welcome to join in this meaningful celebration.
Advent, the period before Christmas lasting 21 to 28 days, includes four Sundays dedicated to preparing for the arrival of baby Jesus. During this time, churches around the world focus on four essential elements of the season—peace, hope, love, and joy—reflecting on their significance to the Christian faith.

North Scottsdale United Methodist Church celebrates the love of God through Christ by offering a 10AM ONLINE and in-person service on Sunday. Sunday school is available in-person and online @ www.nsumckids.info. They have children and youth activities including; children’s choir, volleyball, mission trips, small groups, festivals and youth groups. N.S.U.M.C. also offers ONLINE and in-person adult Bible studies, men and women’s groups
