Our traditional Advent Carol Service recounts the prophecies that the Messiah will come, and describes the visit of the Angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary to announce that she will be the Messiah’s mother.Between the readings and carols, the Cathedral Consort sings music that carries forward the story.
A great way to begin to explore the themes that will bring us to Christmas night as the Cathedral moves from darkness into flickering candlelight.
