Ready to explore how federal partnerships can boost Northern Nevada regional and rural opportunities? This event is a collaboration forum designed to connect communities with federal programs, resources and strategic partnerships that support long-term economic growth and development. Engage directly with federal regional leadership, industry representatives, lenders, economic development organizations and community stakeholders while exploring solutions, sharing ideas and identifying opportunities for collaboration across rural Nevada.


Representatives from SBA, USDA, HUD and additional invited federal partners will join regional leadership, lenders, economic development organizations, chambers, industry associations, a wide range of business representation, manufacturers, agricultural producers and ranchers along with other key stakeholders across Northern Nevada. Together participants will exchange ideas, strengthen cross-sector relationships, and explore collaborative approaches that support long-term regional and rural prosperity.

9:00 a.m. – Welcome & Opening Remarks (Panel Moderator)

9:15 a.m. – Federal Leadership Introductions

9:20–10:10 a.m. – Panel Discussion: Capital Access & Financing Opportunities with Audience Q&A to follow

10:10-10:25am – Break

10:25–11:15 a.m. – Panel Discussion: Federal Resources & Partnership Opportunities with Audience Q&A to follow

12:00 p.m. – Networking Engagement


Forum Focus: The program will feature collaborative discussions focused on:

Capital Access & Financing Opportunities:

  • Capital access and capital stacking strategies
  • Agency financing, funding and investment resources
  • Opportunity Zone investment opportunities and HUBZone program overview
  • Public-private partnerships and engagement with lending partners
  • Aligning federal, state, county tribal and local resources to support community investment and economic development


Federal Resources & Partnership Opportunities:

  • Agency-specific programs, technical assistance, and resource opportunities
  • Small business, community, and economic development initiatives
  • Infrastructure, housing, agriculture and food and regional development initiatives
  • Cross-agency collaboration and coordinated federal resources
  • Strategies to strengthen collaboration among federal, state, tribal county and other local and regional partners
