Join professional pumpkin carver and master sculptor Alan Silva for an immersive, hands-on pumpkin sculpture masterclass. Known for his precision, realism, and larger-than-life creations, Alan travels across the country teaching carving workshops and creating incredible pumpkin sculptures for audiences and events nationwide.
Alan was a semi-finalist on Season 3 of Food Network’s Outrageous Pumpkins and appeared on Season 14 of Halloween Wars All-Stars as part of the fan-favorite team Two Ghouls and a Butcher. His professional sculptural work has appeared at high-profile red-carpet and industry events, including premieres for Jurassic World: Rebirth, Barbie, and Superman, and HBO’s hit series The Last of Us.
Now, Alan is bringing his professional carving experience to Utah for an exclusive, extended hands-on workshop hosted by his Halloween Wars teammate and co-star, Emerlie Ann Miller of Neo Sugar Rush.
During this four-hour masterclass, students will learn the artistic approach and professional carving techniques used to create detailed, expressive pumpkin sculptures. Alan will provide hands-on instruction and individual guidance throughout the workshop, helping students build confidence while developing their own sculptural skills.

Your registration includes the use of professional carving tools during class and a pumpkin to carve. Students will leave with their completed pumpkin sculpture and new techniques they can continue developing at home.
This class is designed for artists, bakers, decorators, makers, and pumpkin enthusiasts who are ready to take their carving skills beyond the basics. Previous carving or sculpting experience is helpful but not required.

Class size is extremely limited to provide a focused, hands-on learning experience with individualized instruction from Alan. Due to the limited availability of this workshop, all bookings are final and non-refundable. Spots may be transferred to another person or available workshop with prior approval.
