Advanced painting class for miniatures focusing on Contrast being taught by John Webster or “There’s more to life than contrast paint”

This class looks at reasons for increasing contrast, and discusses several techniques.
-highlights and shadows
-color choices
-edge highlighting
-lining
The focus will be on highlighting and shading, looking at the following
-Speed painting using block colors and washes
-Light effects creating shadows and highlights
-Color palette: creating highlights and shades
-Contrast paint to replace block colors and washes
-Underpainting or “Grisaille”
-Limitations of drybrushing
Attendees will paint two miniatures (the class fee will cover the cost of one D&D brand miniature) or one with different techniques
If possible, bring your own miniatures, paints, end brushes or use the store supplies
