Your dog has worked hard to master the basics. Now it is time to build precision, increase reliability, and strengthen real world control. This advanced-level obedience class challenges dog and handler teams who are ready for more structure, more clarity, and more teamwork.
This course develops consistent performance in distracting outdoor environments using force-free, positive reinforcement. Expect clean mechanics, thoughtful progression, and upbeat pattern games that keep training fun while skills get sharper.
What Your Dog Will Learn
• Precision Heeling and Engagement
Cleaner heel position, crisp halts, smooth turns, pace changes, and figure 8s with focused attention.
• Silky Leash Skills
Light leash communication that keeps your dog connected without pressure or tension.
• Rally-Inspired Pattern Work
Short sequences combining heel work, pivots, fronts, finishes, and smooth transitions.
• Distance Command Reliability
Sit, down, and stand at increasing distances with single cue compliance.
• Drop on Recall (Emergency Stop)
A critical safety skill that teaches your dog to immediately stop motion when cued.
• Impulse Control Under Distraction
Food alley heeling, people and dog pass-bys, and focused work in more challenging outdoor environments.
• Fronts, Finishes, and Short Chains
Polished positions and simple behavior chains that build toward Rally and Novice-level obedience.
• Field Session for Real-World Generalization
Practice skills in public spaces that offer natural distractions, different surfaces, and new visual environments.
