Adults With Hobbies | Week 6: Radical Feminist Book Club

Welcome to Adults With Hobbies!

Finding yourself too invested in capitalist survival and not invested enough in yourself and your community? Learn a new hobby at The Foundry!

Each class will use a radical justice lens to present a brief overview of the field at hand, followed by a hands-on activity where YOU are the MAKER. You will bring home something tangible from each class.

Throughout these weekly summer courses, you’ll learn about community organizations doing relevant work locally, and opportunities to get more involved in the hobbies you like. We’ll also read a book together over the coldest Winter months, culminating in the final class and get-together, book club.

WEEK SIX: Our final session in this series will be a group discussion of Touching the Art, by Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore. Expect tea and cookies, and feel free to bring additional snacks. Bring your book notes and any questions you have for the group!

This is a donation-only session, with a recommended contribution of $5/person. We'll be in The Point meeting space.

Masking optional but highly encouraged.
