Adult Tap Dance Class to Learn Classic Beats and Techniques

Tap dance is a beautifully rhythmic dance style that incorporates percussion and movement, creates it's own music in a way and is tons of fun as well as good for your mind/body. We also specialize in modifying so that every BODY can dance as well.

Even more, it's a percussive, rhythmic American art form where dancers wear shoes with metal taps on the heel and toe to strike the floor, creating sounds that function as music, either with or without musical accompaniment, blending African rhythms and European clog dancing into complex, energetic footwork. It's characterized by its "marriage of motion and sound" and has evolved into styles like Broadway (theatrical) and Rhythm (jazz-focused) tap.

We here focus on BROADWAY style; but add in some elements of rhythm-style as well.

Open to all levels. (Recommended for Advanced Beginner - Intermediate, or Advanced who just want Practice)

Each week you'll leave with a fun combination to practice, a big smile, a hobby you'll love, an excercise for the day, and stress release! Not bad for 45 minutes of dancing huh?

This is an open to the entire community class and we encourage anyone interested to join in, reservations are required however as we have a limited amount of tap-boards for everyone.
