Adult Tai Chi classes will be held Monday night at 7 PM. We have self-defense class following this class from 8-9 PM.
We also offer Tai Chi class for adults on Thursdays at noon.
$10.00 drop in per class or $40 monthly
All classes will be held at First Congregational UCC Church in Lowell, MI.
Adult Tai Chi Class (Level 1) - FLOW Fitness
Age 12+
This is a general class that focuses on the philosophy and application of tai chi (and introducing qi gong breathing techniques). We will spend time discussing and applying the different uses that people see in tai chi (moving meditation, light exercise, and martial art). This class will spend time working on the first section of the long (108 posture) Yang form. There will be light discussion of martial arts application and qi gong breathing. There will be a light warm up (stretching session) followed by posture/stance work. Then, we will spend time on the form. In this final time, there may be discussion of application.
