Join us for an evening of creative painting, fellowship, and free light refreshments! We’ll provide the 16”x20” canvas and all supplies needed to create this beautiful painting of a sunset in Lovina Clemmons Butler's Orchard with birds flying away from the tree (presumably after a shot from Mrs. Butler's rifle). Lavina was Fulton County's equivalent to Annie Oakley as she was well known for being able to shoot black birds out of her Cherry tree! She was also the head of the Tedrow (Spring Hill) Woman's Christian Temperance Union.
Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just looking for a creative escape, this class is sure to be a fun-filled evening. Just bring your enthusiasm, creativity and a few friends . . . we’ll offer instructions, a themed mocktail and light refreshments to enjoy throughout the evening!
